About VATCSA

The Virginia Association of Trial Court Staff Attorneys (“VATCSA”) exists to support its members in the efficient operation of Virginia’s trial courts by promoting collaboration, professional growth, and the exchange of best practices in legal research, court administration, technology, and procedural compliance. VATCSA further provides continuing legal education opportunities for its members and the greater Virginia legal community.


VATCSA also promotes the professional development of term law clerks and interns, offering guidance in legal research and writing and practical insights from a judicial perspective. VATCSA is dedicated to fostering ethical conduct, professional excellence, and mutual respect, while upholding the integrity and public trust of Virginia’s trial courts.
